Global warming
Warming is a phenomenon in which the average temperature of the earth rises, and is a serious problem around the world as part of climate change. The main cause of global warming is the increase in greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4). These gases are excreted in large quantities by burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and agricultural activities, and accumulated in the atmosphere of the earth.
The effects of global warming include the rise of the sea surface, the frequent occurrence of abnormal weather, the change in the ecosystem, and the melting of the glacier. In particular, the rise in the sea surface causes serious damage to coastal cities and island countries, and abnormal weather causes disasters such as floods and drought.
In order to prevent global warming, it is important to promote the use of renewable energy, thorough energy saving, and protect forests. In addition, international cooperation and individual initiatives are required, and each country sets out emission reduction targets based on the Paris Agreement.
